About Us

Docsinnovent Ltd are specialists in airway management committed to raising standards in veterinary anaesthesia. The company launched the world’s first veterinary specie-specific supraglottic airway management device – v-gel® – for cats and rabbits in 2012. In 2016, ISFM (International Society of Feline Medicine) awarded the prestigious “Easy to Give” award to the cat v-gel® and has now conferred the same award to our new cat v-gel® Advanced.

Second generation v-gel® advanced devices for cats, dogs and rabbits are available globally through our large network of distributors.

v-gel® devices are a safer and easier alternative to an endotracheal tube, avoiding laryngeal and tracheal trauma by forming a pharyngeal seal.

Other products include the d-grip® anaesthesia circuit support device and VetLube® sterile lubricant spray.

Dr Muhammed Aslam Nasir, a qualified human anesthesiologist, is the inventor of the i-gel® supraglottic airway device (www.i-gel.com). In 2016 he was awarded the prestigious Macewen Medal by the DAS (Difficult Airway Society) to recognise and honour his services to airway management. He is only the 14th recipient of this award and will join the society’s most revered members.
